![]() As for Audiosurf, which has been brought up a few times, when you get into the different ships and need twitch-reflect timing, a kb/mouse setup is a must. Some games (TF2 for example) I wouldn't dream of ever playing without a kb/mouse, which is why it hasn't been getting as much of my love lately.Īlso I didn't see a lot of titles like this in your collection, but driving and SHUMPs are always auto-controller picks for me. Even some games that say "Partial" are awesome (for example I just finished a single-player run through of SRTT today and it's listed as "Partial Controller Support", which I think is just due to the fact that you have to pick which version of DirectX you want to use when you boot it up as everything in-game is perfect), with that being said SRTT could arguably be said to be played more accurately with mouse/kb (although there is rarely a need for "precision" in SR titles =p). Pretty much a good rule of thumb is, if the game advertises "Full Controller Support", you will likely have a good time with a controller. ![]() Beat Hazard (let me know if you need/want the "Ultra" DLC) Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom (NS).I'm not sure what games you are sick of yet, however out of the ones you have, the following I consider much better via controller (in no particular order and of course this is just my personal preference/opinion). If you are using a wired-X360 controller (my controller of choice for when I need one and am at my computer, however for Big Picture mode I'm using a long-range Bluetooth adapter/MotionJoy and an HDMI-over-ethernet connection from my PC to TV which was fairly cheap for the transmitter/receiver pair). I have a flight stick and still use mouse and keyboard when I play War Thunder, however, I use a Gamepad for Everspace. That said, I was thinking about the cool effect of the horizontal and vertical lines coming off of the mouse pointer and how it works. In terms of games, I checked out your profile and filtered the games that we both had so I could make personal recommendations. EVERSPACE 2 > Bugs & Technical Issues > Topic Details Thrillhouse 1 hour ago Silly Ultrawide Mouse Pointer 'Issue' I run at 3840x1600 without any functional issues. This has to do with how flight in Everspace 2 works: it’s less a traditional space-sim and more an arcadey six-degrees of freedom. ROCKFISH Games has baked full HOTAS support into Everspace 2, but they don’t recommend using one to play their game. I've really been taking advantage of Steam's "Big Picture" mode since I moved (this might have to do with the fact that my gaming PC and largest TV are in different rooms or maybe because I like to game at odd hours when, my now live-in girlfriend, likes to sleep down the hall from where the PCs are located) but the reason is moot =p. Everspace 2 has full HOTAS support, but ROCKFISH recommends you use a different control method.
